
Kristen Anne Bell was born on July 18th August, 1980. [1] She is an American singer and actress. Following her beginnings in acting as a stage actor at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, Bell made her Broadway stage debut in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Bell also performed in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the year after. After appearing in the action thriller Spartan (2004) which she also starred in, she was praised for her performance in Gracie's Choice (2004). After that, she made her stage debut on Broadway as Becky Thatcher in comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the following year she was cast as a character in the television show for teenagers, Veronica Mars (2004). Her performance received critical acclaim as well as a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress on TV. In the 2014 film, she reprised her role as the title character and in the renewal of the show in 2019, she was the main character. Bell played the role from 2007 until 2008 in the role of Elle Bishop in Heroes, the superhero drama. She voiced the titular narrator in the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl, reprising the role in the 2021 sequel. Bell was also the voice of Jeannie van den Hooven who was the lead female character on Showtime's comedy series House of Lies. She starred in the lead role of Eleanor Shellstrop on the critically popular NBC comedy series The Good Place, receiving an Golden Globe Award nomination for her role. Bell played the character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the streaming series The Woman in the Home Across the Street From the Girl in the Window.
