Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a employee in a manufacturing plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of the three siblings. Stone was thought to be academically gifted when she started in the second grade at age five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Stone graduated in 1975. Additionally, she participated at Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to take on a job as a model. In less than a month Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. Soon after, Stone relocated to Europe and spent the entire year living in Milan as well as Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling industry, and decided to venture to acting. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews when she was 20.
