Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began by releasing a humorous rap track which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood when she dropped several rap songs. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. After concentrating on education, she was awarded an education in journalism at university and also a women's study major. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she turned her attention towards music. After gaining viral fame through the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the debut album Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. She decided to pursue acting as a profession following the completion of her previous two projects, as an author and musician.
